Our love is as “normal” as any other gay couples, and has lasted a lot longer than most christopher di crapito: I don’t have to convince myself of anything. Along the way, he happened to find me, we fell in love and are still going strong. His time in the porn industry allowed him to travel and go to college. My partner left the industry a few years ago and now has a great job doing what he loves. I’ve met nearly everyone in the porn industry (including many of the couples on this list) and consider of number of them friends, but I’ve never had a thought of following him into that industry. Despite the stereotypes, neither he nor I are drug addicts (I’ve actually never touched a drug in my life, beyond alcohol) and we actually don’t play with others together or separately. I was able to accept what he did because I’m not a prude and am able to separate sex from love and intimacy. You have to understand that porn is just a job. We met through mutual friends and as I don’t follow porn, I didn’t know who he was nor what he did when we first met, but I eventually came to terms with it. I’m not a porn star, but my partner of nearly eight years was. For those of you who have the opinion that it’s impossible for a porn star to have a “normal” love life, let me inform you that you are wrong.
